The button on the front is for releasing the pick up pin (basically a bail arm) push the button and the pick pin (the small pin on the side of the dome) this allows you to cast (just like opening the bail arm on a fixed spool reel) a turn of the handle should re engage the pick up pin #4 Got it, it sort of fell off in the end, thanks, now the pin detracts when I pulled the dome off and stuck out again when I screwed it back on but when I press the central button nothing happens, is that pin supposed to detract when I press the button, because nothing happens, doesn't seem to be any connection with the pin and button
That can be good or bad
The main disadvantage, however, is the significant water drag
-Perfect rod for Bonefish and also for general saltwater use on many other species like Striper, Snook, Sea Trout, and more
The MK 601SF can be paired with either a 2000 or 2500 spinning reel
